Welcome to the Australian Wado-Ryu Karate JO SUI KAI  Branch.

Chief Sensei Professor Kazuo SAKAI Yokohama Japan, Australian Chief Sensei Michael GUNN 5th Dan, Western Australia.

All Wado Ryu Instructors (Sensei's) are qualified Level One (Bronze) coaches through the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and have Police clearances and working with Children Certificates through the government.

All Black belts are Japanesed graded by Shihan Sensei SAKAI and are of the highest standard. Club members learn the traditional art of Wado Ryu Karate and compete in tournaments to test their skills against our karate styles.

Wado Ryu is a combination of Japanese karate and traditional Ju jitsu teaching you how punch, kick and block, combined with throws, arm and wrist locks. The style is fast moving and provided students with an excellent grounding in self defence and at compedition level.
